Rogue/Stalker guide

Bow Rogue or Stalker Guide

This guide is for those who understand the basic mechanics of the game and are interested in bow stalkers/rogues.

1) Stats for a bow rogue/stalker.

Below is a rough guide of stats recommended for your bow rogue/stalker at level 99.
Str - 10 to 30 ( base)
Agi - 50 to 80 (base)
Vit - 40 to80 (total)
Dex - 100 OR 110 OR 120 (total)
Int - 6 OR 12 OR 18 OR 24 OR 30 (total)
Luk - 1
Note: base means without bonuses while total means including them.(job bonus, equipment bonus)
Its up to you to personalize your own bow rogue/stalker build the way you want it, the above is just a rough guide. For example, if you want a bow rogue/stalker that's almost impossible to kill AND good at stripping, get 30 str, 80 vit, 110 dex and 50 agi. Of course you'll have the penalty of less aspd. Or if you want a bow rogue/stalker with a nice flee and higher damage, get 80 agi ,40 vit,120 dex. You'll have less hp than others but more aspd and flee. Its all up to your playing style and preference.

2) Skills

Recommended skills for bow ROGUE
Snatcher 4
Steal coin 2
Strip Helm 5
Strip Shield 5
Strip Armor 5
Strip Weapon 5
Vulture's Eye 10
Double Strafe 10
Tunnel Drive 3
For bow STALKERS , get all the skills above. You can use the extra skills to get intimidate or whatever you like chase walk and other. Just remember to keep 5 points for Full Strip.

3) Equipment

Weapon

Many people assume that double bloody double boned composite is the best bow there is. Yeah, for hunters who have >140dex. As a bow rogue/stalker, the maximum dex attainable is 120, thus an over upgraded Gakkung works much better. You might also want to get a few other bows besides double bloody Gakkung for leveling.
Useful Gakkungs :
+7 double bloody Gakkung
+7 hybrid/double claymorous Gakkung (for TI leveling)
+7 hybrid/double boned Gakkung
+7 hybrid/double (insert 20% damage card here)
with the new effect of sidewinder cards, using a weapon with 1 and a damage card will increase your leveling speed if don't have insanely high int.
besides that for pvp.. you might wanna get some 4x status card composite bows or main gauche. You have to go close to inflict status ailments with a main gauche but you get to use a cranial buckler. Learn when to use which (Main Gauche's or composite bow's) to get nice results. Over upgraded Main Gauches or status composite bow are not needed.. although some might want to just because it looks nicer when its +10.
Useful status inflicting weapons:
+7 quad curse(magnolia) composite bow/main gauche
+7 quad ice (marina) composite bow/main gauche
+7 quad stun(savage babe) composite bow/main gauche
+7 quad sleep (plankton) composite bow/main gauche
Different status for different job classes . Finally you might want to get a quad fabre Main Gauche or a quad drops MG for a +400hp or +4 dex when you are stripping.

Headgear
For pvp/woe, I highly recommend using a poopoo hat. If you wanna use headgear cards such as nightmare/deviruchi etc, an over upgraded slotted cap works well. However note that a poopoo hat has better defense than a +8 cap in any situation.(I didn't refer to the formulas but I did some experiments in pvp. Sniper's double strafe deals more damage on +8s cap then on poopoo hat.) Some of you might be tempted to use Apple of Archer for pvp/woe.. I highly suggest against it as it provides crappy defence even when over upgraded. Its useful for leveling though.
Other useful headgears:
Spiky Band - looks cool and provides good defence.
Angel Ear - +1 agi is handy at times, useless luk though.(devil ear is useless because only base str affects a character's weight limit)
Ghost Bandana - if you find yourself getting hit a lot in pvm.
Drooping kitty - 15% MDEF is sexy. 30% resistance to curse is an added bonus.

Shield
All you need is an over upgraded cranial buckler. Others are quite useless cause in pvm you'll be equipping a bow. In pvp/woe however, cranial bucklers are really important. You'll die often in pvp/woe without one.

Garment / Cape
Over upgraded manteaus. Useful cards to slot in are raydric or deviling, whisper ,dustiness (for those Jupitel Thunder crazy wizard), and mares(to survive Storm Gust).

Armor
Over upgraded chain mails provide the best defence for a rogue/stalker, but being a bow rogue/stalker, you might not be able to afford the heavy weight. Thus thief clothes are nice as they're only 10 weight and provides decent defence, the +1 agi is nice too. If you can afford it, an over upgraded thief clothes is a better choice than a over upgraded chain mail.
Pecopeco cards are sweet if you're a stalker. For a rogue however, pupa might be a better choice(unless you have >7k base hp). Marc card is useful against wizards and sages. In woe however you might get killed if you aren't frozen from a pre-casted Storm Gust. Usually it is possible to hide from the Storm Gust though.
If can.. Try find a Ghostring Card and Deviling Card to survive with Champion Asura's.

Footgear
Over upgraded boots. Cards to slot in include matyr/verit for pvp/woe (again its up to what you prefer) and eggya for leveling/pvm (more sp for double starfing. Personally I prefer verit to matyr due to the nice sp boost as each strip costs 25sp.

Accessories
Two words: nimble gloves.
Blast clips ( marine sphere) maybe useful against pneumaed players as well.

4) General Strategies & Tips for PvP.
Aha.. finally.. the fun part.
1. Always carry a cranial buckler with you. Strip your enemy then switch to your bow and ds the crap out of them.
2. Remain out of sight unless you are attacking/stripping. Even with a party, its not your job to tank.
3. Hide!! from spells like Strom Gust, Lord of Vermilion and even asura strike.
4. If your pvping with a party, tunnel drive near your opponent's party and observe what job class they have before your party attacks. Plan suitable strategies. Know yourself and your enemy and you shall be victorious.
5. You CAN strip frozen/stoned people.
6. Know when to strip and when to attack with your bow.
7. Use your status inflicting weapons wisely. Status composite bows are nice to shoot pneumaed players(they'll still get the status even though no damage is caused. And not only that, when they'll pneumaed you don't have to worry about breaking the ice/waking them up after you freeze/make them fall asleep.
8. A vital skill (real life skill not in-game) to have for a player of a bow rogue/stalker is the ability to spam whites while stripping. Practice!!(Don't worry, its not THAT hard.)

5) Tips/Strategies Against Specific Jobs
Note: this strategies do not guarantee winning a particular class. .its simply suggests how to combat them effectively.(Or as effectively as a bow rogue/stalker can, remember all classes have counters.)

Knights/Lord Knights
There isn't much to tell about knights really. Just equip your cranial buckler, strip his/her weapon (spam whites if needed). Then strip the rest of his equipment and double strafe away~ Its annoying when they endure and run though.

Crusaders/Paladins
Basically the same as knights. Just remember to backslide/hide from Grand Cross. You might not be able to kill those Grand Cross/heal crusaders though (they just keep healing). Just let your party murder them after they are naked.(That sounds so wrong.)

Blacksmiths/Whitesmiths
Blacksmiths are almost the same as knights. Whitesmiths are a pain though. After they are naked and you take out your bow.. they'll use meltdown and try to break your weapon with their punching. Either keep backsliding (not really good now that it has delay), or hide and move as far as you can shoot and double strafe him from afar. They'll probably start running when you do this though. If they manage to break your weapon.. wear your buckler and spam envenom on them. Poison will take away much of their hp. (Once this actually happened to me.. not sure who would have won though in the end cause I got killed by his party member). Or bring a golem carded weapon.

Alchemist/Creators
If they don't have chemical protection then you can take them down easy the usual way. If they have then I guess you'll have to try to kill them with your double strafe. Chemical protection alchemist/creators are created specifically to counter the rogue class, thus its almost impossible to take them down with one. Fortunately there aren't many alchemist/creators around though and not all of them have chemical protection skills.

Assassins/Sin-X
Assassins are easy just strip their weapon and double strafe. Sin-X are completely different how ever. To most other classes, edp sin-X would be more deadly than soul breaker sin-X. However to the bow rogue/stalker, a soul breaker sin-X is much more of a threat. You can beat most edp sin-X as long as you strip their weapon before they kill you (not particularly hard with a cranial buckler). For soul breaker sin-X however it's a different story. This is because soul breaker sin-X don't depend on their weapon as much as edp sin-X. Soul breaker can still be painful without their weapon. Strip of soul breaker sin-X shield if they are wearing one. Strip off their weapon as well to reduce their damage. You can freeze them then strip them when they are frozen if you want to. Try your best to kill them after you strip them.

Wizard/High Wizard/Sage/Professor
Wear mdef gears and a marc card. Hide if Storm Gust or other AoE spells is casted. Do not let them get close enough to stone curse(Hide and tunnel drive away or backsliding).Double strafe him from afar. If you do get stoned/frozen however, switch to your cranial buckler(Yes, you CAN change your equipment when you are frozen/stoned), you should be able to survive at least once(not die in one frozen Jupitel Thunder) with proper gears.

Monks/Champions
Its not impossible to defeat monks/champs, its hard, but not impossible. Usually when monks come in pvp they want to kill many people. If he is asura ready(crit explosion and 5 spheres casted) don't go near him. Let him kill someone else first. Once he casts asura on another person, pop up beside him and strip his weapon. If you have <9k>9k hp, however, proceed to strip his shield, armor and(if he is wearing poopoo or mistress crown) helm. He'll probably casted all his spirit sphere asura-ready after a while. Wear poopoo, immune, thara and a pecopeco armor and let him asura you (hide if possible). If he managed to hit you, you should not die with +7 gears if you have >9k hp and if he is a monk. If he is a champion however, you have less chances of survival as champions have 30% more sp. After you strip everything go out of range and double strafe him. They die easy without their gears. If they pneuma use blast clip or envenom to hit them. Another strategy is to keep double strafing them and remain out of range once you see him. If all goes well he'll use pneuma to block your attacks and laugh and you. When this happens switch to your quad marina bow and shoot him until he is frozen, then strip him when he is frozen. Or you can use quad curse bow to piss him off(he'll waste sp blessing himself) if he is wearing unfrozen. Don't forget to put your finger on top of your hide hotkey once you see a monk/champ in screen.(They usually forget to ruwach unless they fight rogue/stalkers a lot) If you have ghostring card this guys are probably cake to you. If you cant win them dont get too disappointed, not many classes can fight monk/champs anyway (at least bow rogue/stalkers have a chance).

Hunters/Snipers
If you think that hunters own a bow rogue.. you are sadly mistaken ;P. A fight of a hunter vs a bow rogue would be very interesting indeed. All you have to do is equip your buckler, creep up beside the hunter, then begin stripping is weapon. After you successfully done that, switch to your bow and kill him. Snipers are basically the same although they are much harder to take down cause they have Falcon Assault which doesn't require a bow. Skilled hunters/snipers will try to use charge arrow/arrow repel to not let you get close. This is simple to counter, just hide and tunnel drive beside the hunter/sniper, by the time he detects you, you'll probably be beside him already and have the time to at least strip 1 or 2 times before he charge arrow you away again. Repeat if necessary. As for those Falcon Assault snipers(those with really high int), I wouldn't recommend you to try to take one down with a bow rogue/stalker. Just strip their shield and armor and let your party members deal with them.

Priest/High Priest
Lets face it, their basically no way to take down a priest alone with a bow rogue/stalker. However, bow rogue/stalkers do help much in taking down a priest by stripping their shield, armor and helm. If you get lex etena, hide and use the priest's ruwach to get rid of it, this saved my life a few times.

RO Assassin's Destiny

Introduction about RO Assassin's Destiny

The following information found in this guide is mostly based on my experience in playing mRO (Malaysia) version of Ragnarok Online, playing in private servers (ya, I know it's illegal and all...) and reading other FAQs/guides on different forums and some came from my own theories and observations.

Why play SinX?
When Assassin first came to RO, many people liked the Assassin class because they are so cool and they tend to make fun of monsters in RO by seeing a "Miss" sign everywhere. Another is because they have a unique ability to Crit most of the time, they are the ones you find irritating making rough noise anywhere with their insane crits. After a few months time Assassin class became weak "In a sense that the players understand that RO is not about 99AGI!" and for the past years Assassin class became the weakest class in our server pRO, I even defeated one whose level is 98 while I'm only 85(Crusader), even Priests tend to beat off Sin class wif HolyLight/Phen combo. Even in WOE Sin class tend to die easily not being able to reach EMP, the only use for them is to critlock in spawn areas under their own precasts. Are there no more future for Sin class? After sometime there have been speculations of new upgrade classes, this is where SinX trully shines. Not anymore a bully type class like before. SinX skills totally amused me combined with the conventional Sin skills make a nice set of armaments for players to choose from. The destiny of Assassin class begins here...

Biggest mistakes/misconceptions made by players:

a.) All SinX are AGI/LUK characters:
With the addition of SoulBreaker and Enchant Deadly Poison it opened up other types of builds for SinX other than AGI and LUK builds, ofcourse AGI and LUK builds are still good combined with EDP and the conventional skills of Sin. The popular builds of today are Soul Breaker builds (SBk/SBr) and Sonic Blow builds (SB) others are Hybrid SinX.

b.) Assassin class of today considered overpowered?
In our country where advanced classes are not yet out, there has been a speculation that SinX class is an overpowered class because of the new skills, I personally disagree with it, other advance skills of other jobs tend to be quite powerful and Top Tier skills like SBk of SinX has a certain disadvantage like the 2.8 secs LAG which could be your downfall not to mention that you can't use skills in that 2.8 secs. EDP skill a costly skill to maintain in terms of money (Rich players ignore this).

c.) Assassin X must use katar?
With the addition of new skills and the upgrade of certain skills like Venom Splasher etc. Assassins are not restricted in using katars, more variations for dual daggers are now for grabs even 1 hand swords are now being used by SinX (Sbk class).

d.) The best type and build for Assassin X please.
I hate reading posts asking for best builds or types of Assassin. The thought of there being a "best build" is a misconception in itself. There is no such thing as a "best build". The "best build" you can get is a build that you have created for yourself that suits your playing style.

Common Builds:
The most popular portion of any FAQ/Guide, most readers tend to bypass other portions of the guide and go straight to this section. All builds are with Job 70 bonus and equips. These are my own builds, feel free to use this as a guide but please don't copy it exactly, remember the best build is the one you have created yourself.

My Critical All Rounder SinX build:
Personally I call this my all rounder SinX build, can do almost everything but does not specialize in a certain way. Combine this with a priest and you can now WOE/PvP efficiently. I think 176 atkspd is the minimum atkspd to critlock in WOE. Can also use Sonic Blow combined with EDP and change to STR gears for optimum damage.

174.0 atkspd w/ awakes 176.5 atkspd w/agiup and bless

Str 79 + 11 = 90
Agi 70 + 20 = 90 (w/ angel helm, matyr, 2x brooch[1] and thievescloth[1])
Vit 57 + 3 = 60
Dex 20 + 10 = 30
Luk 61 + 9 = 70
Int 2 + 0 = 2

Must have skills for this build
Thief Skills: Improve Dodge, Double Attack, Hiding, Envenom, Detoxify the rest is up to you
SinX Skills: EDP, Adv Mastery, Katar Mastery, Cloaking, Enchant Poison, Sonic Blow, Grim Tooth, Venom Dust

My Extreme Critical SinX build:
I made this for EMP breaking in WOE and Critlocking purposes. With 90 LUK and 40 VIT it is enough to withstand Status effects. Infiltrator can be abused because of the 90 LUK.

has 177.0 atkspd w/ awakes 179.5 atkspd w/agiup and bless

STR: 49 + 11 = 60
AGI: 91 + 19 = 110 (w/ 2x BOC, matyr, thievescloth[1])
VIT: 37 + 3 = 40
INT: 1
DEX: 10 + 10 = 20
LUK: 82 + 8 = 90
9 stat pts left

Must have skills for this build
Thief Skills: Improve Dodge, Double Attack, Hiding, Envenom, Detoxify the rest is up to you
SinX Skills: EDP, Adv Mastery, Katar Mastery, Cloaking, Enchant Poison, Venom Dust

My Soul Breaker Hybrid SinX build:
This is the build that I'm going to use when SinX comes out on our server, because I can't afford to EDP all the time I decided to use Soul Breaker as my mainstay and use EDP + Sonic Blow in tough situations especially in WOE.

STR: 81 + 9 = 90 (100 STR wif 2x ROM SGH/Sphinx/Adu Cap + Picky/EvilEars)
AGI: 1 + 15 = 16
VIT: 57 + 3 = 60
INT: 90 + 10 = 100 (2x earring, Eru Cap, 1 Handeno and 1 Evil Druid)
DEX: 35 + 10 = 45
LUK: 2 + 8 = 10
1 stat pt left

Must have skills for this build
Thief Skills: Improve Dodge, Double Attack, Hiding, Envenom, Detoxify the rest is up to you
SinX Skills: EDP, Adv Mastery, Katar Mastery, Cloaking, Enchant Poison, Soul Breaker, Sonic Blow, Venom Dust

My Sonic Blow build SinX build:
This is my dream SinX build but it's very hard to train and is very expensive, it constantly uses EDP as it's mainstay as well as SP items. A very powerful build combined with very high STR and High DEX expect insane damage out of it.

STR: 99 + 21 = 120 (w/ 2x ROM, SGH, and EvilEars 130 STR w/ Bless)
AGI: 1 + 15 = 16
VIT: 71 + 3 = 74 (to ensure survivability and high % gain from pots)
INT: 1
DEX: 70 + 10 = 80 (Can exchange ROM's with NG and other DEX gears + Bless for 100 DEX)
LUK: 2 + 8 = 10

Must have skills for this build
Thief Skills: Improve Dodge, Double Attack, Hiding, Envenom, Detoxify the rest is up to you
SinX Skills: EDP, Adv Mastery, Katar Mastery, Cloaking, Enchant Poison, Sonic Blow, Venom Dust, Grim Tooth

Equipment
Actually equipment is your own personal preference or what you can afford. These are only my suggestions.

For AGI/Critical SinX
PvP/WoE:
Head: PooPoo/Angel Helm/Masquarade/Devil Ears
Body: Marc/Dokebi/Ghostring/Pasana/Evil Druid/PecoPeco ChainMail/Thieves Cloth
Robe: Whisper/Raydric/Ragamuffin Manteau
Shoe: Verit/Matyr Boots
Shield: Thara Buckler (when rushing to EMP or under heavy precast)
Weapon: Infiltrator, Hydra/SS/OrcSkel Carded Jurs
Accessories: BOC, ROC, ROM

Robe shuffle. This only works for agi major hybrids, like the one suggested in this guide. You start off with a whisper manteau. When your opponent takes out a mummy weapon (pretty noticable due to the low damage), switch to a raydric manteau.

For Soul Breaker SinX
PvP/WOE:
Head: PooPoo/Elder Willow Cap/Masquarade/Devil Ears/Adurate Cap/SGH
Body: Marc/Dokebi/Ghostring/Pasana/Evil Druid/PecoPeco ChainMail
Robe: Raydric/Ragamuffin Manteau
Shoe: Sohee/Verit Boots
Shield: Thara Buckler
Weapon: Infiltrator, Andre/Mummy/Status Carded Blades/Handenogums/Knives
Accessories: ROM, EOM, Earrings

For Sonic Blow SinX
PvP/WOE:
Head: PooPoo/Masquarade/Devil Ears/Adurate Cap/SGH/AoA
Body: Marc/Dokebi/Ghostring/Pasana/Evil Druid/PecoPeco/Picky ChainMail
Robe: Raydric/Ragamuffin Manteau
Shoe: Matyr/Sohee/Verit Boots
Shield: Thara Buckler (when Rushing to EMP or under heavy precast)
Weapon: Infiltrator
Accessories: ROM, NG

Assassin X WOE Rundown

Survivability - Superior to most classes like archer, mage, merchant and monk classes. Also the third highest HP modifier. Has a good selection of armors for quality defense. Also non SP reliant SinX can overweight themselves to carry maximum whites due to medium-high STR.

Firepower - EDP skill boosts SinX damage like hell, Sonic Blow can 1 Hit kill most classes except for Swordsman classes that have insane HP and some VIT freaked BS too. Soul Breaker another top tier skill that can 1 shot kill Mage and Hunter classes in PvP is also a fearsome skill. SBk users requires a bit of brains and strategy in order to be successful. Lastly Crit SinX can also use EDP and wiff their opponents with insane crit damage along with it's goddish atkspd.

Cost - EDP Reliant Sinx is very costly because EDP costs a lot depending on the demand in different servers. Armor costs the same as the swordsman class so I think it's a little costly compared to Acolyte, Mage and Archer class Equipments.

Versatility - I think Assassin X are pretty versatile. Need offensive firepower? Sonic Blow does the job. Need insane EMP breaker? Speed Critical SinX is the way to go. Need ranged damage? Soul Breaker is nice especially when in PvP. Want to be an MVP fast? EDP and SoulBreaker does the job too.

Carding Weapons
For different kinds of Sinx we also need different kinds of cards for different weapons to be effective in what we have to do. I will only state the most commonly used cards for such builds.

PvP/WOE in RO

Soul Breaker SinX:
Weapon: Handenogum[2], Blade[4], Knife[4]
Cards: Andre, Mummy, Phreeroni and Status Cards

I have changed the old formula because it was proven that JayWorms formula was wrong. (Thanks to Sky and the others)

New Physics side formula
(ATK + (Specific cards(Andre) *10)

A Haendenogum with Andre Cards will always beat a Blade[4] with Andres when it comes to damage output except if the target has very low DEF like 10-20. The main use of Handenogum is the INT bonus which ignores DEF, usually pure Soul Breakers tend to use handenogum because they concenrate more on the Magic Atk side of SBk thus prefer the +3 INT.

Knife is used in the left hand because when calculating for the total atk the left hands weapon atk is not counted nor it's bonuses(+'s) you just need the [4]slots for more card advantage plus it's much cheaper and lighter to carry. Use [4]Knives + Status Cards and combo it with Envenom for a no miss status changer. Again a handenogum can also be used in the left hand for another +3 INT Bonus.

Sonic Blow and Critical SinX:
Weapon: Jur[3], Knife[4], Blade[4]
cards: SS, Hydra, Mummy, Orc Skel, Phreeroni and Status Cards.

For best results use an Infiltrator if you are using Sonic Blow. A jur for SB build is just for Mummy Cards much better if you can afford a Phreeroni so you can go for a +10 Double Bloody Perfect Jur. For Critical builds if LUK is 60 use a 2 SS Hydra Jur for constant Crits. LUK 90 builds are open for Infiltrator or SS + 2 hydra jur for constant Crit + nice damage boost. Orc Skel for WOE and Status cards for knives[4] use Envenom for this.

Leveling Spots
All things that are here are based from my experience. But this will also depend on your money, equipments, patience and friends.

This is for AGI builds

1-10: All monsters that in the map that is 1map away from cities.
I recommend that you level up in the Sograt desert and battle those
Drops, Condors, Pickies and Super Pickies.

11-20: Go to the Rocker Fields and battle them or if you're daring you
can always try the Ambernites. If you have yourself a good party or a
friend that is in a high level you can ask him to tank you in the
Byalan island.

21-30: Try the culverts if you want and also try Payon lv2. I stick to
Byalan by this level until Blevel 50. happy.gif the place is good up to level 2
that is, the aggressiveness is low and you can get yourself to rest.

31-40: Stick to one place. I recommend Byalan 2 or Orc Dungeon.

41-50: By this time you'll feel the hard time leveling days. Go Byalan lv 3 or Sohees map.

51-60: This is the semi-boring years I would say. If your AGI is high enough you could always try lv 4 Byalan beware of MOBS always bring a tele clip or fly wing.

61-70: You can have your Job Change by these level if your going for the
Jlvl50 Change. Stick to Sohees or lv 4 Byalan.

71-80: Try Seals or Otters if you have nice flee.

81-99 Stick to HO or Minourous(if have decent VIT).

This is for INT Soul Breaker builds (Will burn a lot of Red/Orange/White pots)

1-10: All monsters that in the map that is 1map away from cities.
I recommend that you level up in the Sograt desert and battle those
Drops, Condors, Pickies and Super Pickies.

61-70: You can have your Job Change by these level if your going for the
Jlvl50 Change. Stick to Sohees or lv 4 Byalan.

71-99: This is the easiest part after you have changed to a SinX and you have atleast 40 STR 20 DEX and 80 INT. Almost every monster with 8-10K HP (Low DEF monsters) is open for SBk users don't forget to combo Andre and Elemental weapons.

For Sonic Blow builds
Please ask a party or a friend to leech and tank you. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will try to update this as soon as I have some information regarding this one.

Assassin X Skill Rundown
I will discuss the Assassin X skills here and give them my personal analysis and rating on how I think the skill performs.

Create Deadly Poison/CDP (desc. taken from Ro-Guardians)

Description: Creates poison required for Enchant Deadly Poison. Dex&Luk increase chance of success and upon failure user will lose 25% of MaxHp. If an Assasin Cross drink this, they will be poisoned and lose HP steadly but upgrade their ASPD by 25% for 30 seconds. It will cause an instant death for any other character that drink it.

The only skill that can be used to create deadly poison bottles. I suggest that you don't invest much Dex or Luk just for this or it will totally ruin your build, don't even try making a character just for CDP purpose (it's a total waste). What you can do is try to have all DEX gears as possible like quad dex knives on both hands, AoA, Rocker armor, 2 nimble clips/nimble gloves = lv 90 and party with a priest friend since failure would result in 25% damage of max hp. Have your priest friend bless and gloria you too. With this way I think you can have a decent success rate in creating DPB's. SB SinX will have the highest success rate because of their high dex builds, balanced crit with 30-40dex SinX will also have an advantage over SBk SinX because of their high LUK ratio. With regards to the ASPD increase I think this is not implemented yet, maybe in future patches it will.

Cost:
It takes 50 SP per usage, pretty high if your not an SBk SinX, then again gotta have a priest friend for continous Magnificat. Not only does it cost a great amount of SP but also the items required costs a great deal too for average players, failure of this is = wasted items.

8/10. I give this an 8 because it is not Zenny friendly for me, the drawback and SP requirement is kinda high too.

Enchant Deadly Poison/EDP (desc. taken from RO-Guardians)

Description: Use a Deadly Poison Bottle to enchant your weapon. It has a random chance to poison enemy. Once enemy is poisoned, it will continously reduce enemy's HP by % rate.

One of the greatest additions for Assassin X, it boosts your damage by 400% of your normal damage rate at max level. It makes your character somewhat glow and transparent for a very cool effect. This skill alone changed the future of Assassin class because of the great potential of this skill combined with the conventional skills of an Assassin.

Some Clarifications for Enchant Deadly Poison
- it does not transform your weapon to poison attribute
- it can not be used together with Soul Breaker (imagine if it can be /gg)
- Argiope Armor / Gas mask does not counter EDP
- can be used together with Sonic Blow (a top tier combination for high STR builds)
- can only be used on yourself regardless of party or guildmate (sheesh)

Usability:
A very useful skill as it increases your damage rate like a madman. Can kill most classess in PvP in mere seconds, include Lord Knight without POTS. A very useful skill in WOE, imagine breaking the EMP in 3-6 secs? Some say 3 secs, damn too fast.

9/10. Hehehe, I give it a 9 because it is not very useful in PvM, a total waste of resources.

Dependability:
When in need to kill someone (sounds like a madman on the loose!) you can always depend on this skill to do the job. SB SinX will depend on this skill for the rest of their lives, most Crit SinX will also depend a lot on this skill but can still crit normally when not really needed. The best skill for breaking emperium, nobody can beat this.

9/10. Why 9? Only one answer because pure SBk SinX can't depend on this skill. I think thats the only build that can't depend on this skill.

Cost:
A costly skill to maintain because it costs 1 DPB per minute not to mention 100SP cost at max level, the only downside of this skill I think. But I also think that it is very balanced, thats why they restricted it to 1 minute per bottle.

9/10. I would have given it a 10 if it they extended it for another 30 secs. Because of the materials and the success rate, it's kinda hard to maintain.

Advanced Katar Research (desc. taken from Ro-Guardians)

Description: Increase damage of Katar type weapon by percentage.

Just like Katar Mastery where in it boosts Katar Damage, but wait! It's % rate. A very nice skill to have if you go the Katar way. It's +20% at max level of 5.

Usability:
Of course a very useful skill upgrade for Katar Wielders, whats not to love?

9/10. Another 9 because again it's restricted for katar types, wheres a new mastery for daggers? It's a little unfair for dagger wielders, Katar already has 2 mastery and daggers have non. Why not have a skill like remove left hand penalty for daggers, which I think also equals to 20%.

Dependability:
A must have skill for Katar Wielders especially for SB and Crit Lockers for an increased damage.

10/10. I give it a 10 because it is a passive skill with a really great effect. A mandatory skill for any Katar Class SinX meaning they will have to depend on this for a nice damage boost.

Meteor Assasult (desc. taken from Ro-Guardians)

Description: A skill that has 5 tile range. Has chance to blind, stun, status ailment and causes severe bleeding effect.

Gives 440% damage and 55% ailment chance at max level of 10. From what I heard this skill is not that great, of course an awesome animation but you cannot depend on this skill to kill in PvP and WOE scenarios, the reason some players go for this skill is for the Status inflicting chance, a nice way to inflict havoc in WOE because the skill is spammable.

Usability:
This is useful for AGI type SinX when mob training low leveled monsters while hunting for items/cards. Can be also used as a massive status inflicting skill in WOE, but with 28SP per use I think SBk SinX are the only one who can spam this skill with ease due to their high INT.

6/10. A give it a 6 because its uses are very limited.

Dependability:
Not very dependable other than a massive status inflicter, you cannot even depend on this skill to kill MOBS of high leveled monsters. Grimtooth wif EDP is much better because you are in a very safe position while finishing your enemies. Only good in beating off low DEF monsters in PvM.

4/10. As I have said before not a very dependable skill.

Cost:
28 SP per use at max lv is quite high for non SBk builds.

5/10. Non INT SinX must use SP items if they want to spam this skill.

Soul Breaker (I did my own definition for this)

Description: A combination of Physical and New type of Magic Atk that does nice damage. Costs 30 SP at max level.

Another great addition for Assassin X, this skill opened up a new generation of Assassin builds. Not in my lifetime did I imagine that there will be an INT based Assassin build. This skill is very strong in PvM and can be used to MvP too, since it is ranged and has a great damage potential for low DEF monsters.

Some Clarifications for Soul Breaker
- Soul Breaker has a 2.8 second delay after use (you cannot use skills in this delay time)
- Soul Breaker is ranged
- Soul Breaker can be blocked by Pneuma
- Soul Breaker is not a Poison Element
- Soul Breaker has a range of 7 cells (same as magic)
- Soul Breaker cannot be used together with EDP
- Soul Breaker does not ignore size penalties
- physical part of Soul Breaker will work together with an elemental weapon
- physical damage of Soul Breaker can be reduced by enemies DEF, VIT DEF, PooPoo and Thara
- magic side of Soul Breaker cannot be reduced by MDEF, DEF and VIT DEF (only Thara and PooPoo can)

For a more detailed information of Soul Breaker please refer to JayWorms guide. (Note that his physical damage formula is wrong please check the topics posted on this thread to verify the correct formula)

Usability: A very useful skill in PvM, PvP and MvP. Can be used to 1 hit kill those low DEF characters like Mage and Archer classes Combined with Lex can be a fearsome skill. Not very useful to non INT SinX builds but can also be used as a combo starter or finisher. In WOE this skill does not excel like in PvP because of the damage cap to magic and ranged skills. But try this along with 7 or more SBk SinX in your guild and you can take down 1 class per 2.8 secs which I think is nice.

8/10. Because it is not very effective in WOE if only few SBk SinXs gather together, AGI class SinX cannot use this skill often because of the SP cost plus low damage due to lack of INT.

Dependability:
Sbk SinX will depend on this skill most of the time for training, PvP, MvP and WOE. Hybrid Sbk SinX can also use EDP + SB combo so that he is not restricted to the weaknesses of SBk. Combined with a great skill of a player he/she can always depend on this skill.

8/10. Not very dependable in WOE, I would rather do SB in WOE scenarios.

Cost:
For SBk SinX 30 SP per use is fair enough but not for AGI class SinX.

9/10. Fair Enough for INT builds.

My Guide is not for those new to Ragnarok Online (RO), because it is a SinX guide I am assuming that you know the basics of RO. Please refer to other guides if you find this hard to understand.
